About Elevate Your Roots
Elevate Your Roots is more than just a brand—it’s a movement. We’re creating a space where loc lovers and free spirits can come together to learn, inspire, and support one another. And this is just the beginning.
About the Project
The goal of this project was to create a centralized “home base” for the emerging brand Elevate Your Roots, an all-natural dreadlock product line aimed at providing high-quality hair care solutions. This project would also eventually include the merger of GoldELocs, an established dreadlock service business, uniting both brands under a single, cohesive digital presence. To accomplish this, Butterfly Blood Studios developed two distinct websites: one built on WordPress to serve as the informational and community hub for the brand, and another built on Shopify to function as a dedicated ecommerce platform for product sales.
The WordPress site focused on storytelling, brand building, and education around natural dreadlock care, while the Shopify site streamlined the purchasing process with a focus on product features, customer reviews, and secure checkout functionality. The project involved a wide range of services, including original copywriting tailored to the brand’s voice, custom graphic design to visually represent the brand’s vibrant and natural aesthetic, complete web design for both platforms, ecommerce UX/UI optimization, and SEO strategy integration. The goal was to not only launch a strong brand presence but also create a scalable online ecosystem that could grow alongside Elevate Your Roots and its expanding offerings.
